Pi Squared launches VSL development network to build a verifiable cross-chain settlement layer
ChainCatcher news, the Web3 verifiable settlement protocol Pi Squared has officially launched the VSL development network, providing a verifiable execution framework for decentralized computing. The network has three core functions:Cross-chain interoperability: Achieving secure asset cross-chain transfer through the integration of the Wormhole native token transfer framework (NTT);Blockchain mirroring: Synchronizing the state of Ethereum and Bitcoin networks to support multi-chain application development;Trusted AI execution: Ensuring the verifiability of AI agent computations based on Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) technology.Developers can utilize this platform to build blockchains, AI, and multi-chain applications that support cross-domain verification. Founder and CEO Grigore Rosu (University of Illinois professor, former NASA engineer) stated that this development network aims to address the fragmentation and trust issues in the current blockchain ecosystem, providing a programmable infrastructure for cross-chain interactions. The project team has also launched a strategic financing plan, having previously secured $12.5 million in seed round investment. According to Dan Reecer, co-founder of the Wormhole Foundation, both parties are collaborating to advance the seamless cross-chain verification system construction.
