ChainCatcher news, according to Tech in Asia, Istanbul-based game studio Circle Games has recently completed a $7.25 million seed funding round, led by Bitkraft Ventures, with participation from a16z Speedrun, Play Ventures, e2vc, and APY Ventures. The studio plans to use this funding to further develop its current project Sort Express and other unannounced games, while also supporting team expansion.In the casual puzzle game market, Circle Games aims to innovate player experience by introducing new mechanics. The Turkish gaming industry is rapidly growing, and Circle Games' funding comes at a time when Turkey is rising as a mobile gaming hub, ranking second in game development in the EMEA region, just behind the UK.
