The main suspect in South Korea's first virtual asset law violation case has been granted bail

ChainCatcher news, the main suspect and his accomplice in South Korea's first case of price manipulation prosecuted under the "Virtual Asset User Protection Act" have recently been granted bail by the court. According to the ruling of the Criminal Division of the Southern District Court of Seoul, the court approved the bail applications of the principal suspect A and accomplice B.The prosecution alleges that these suspects manipulated the price of C coin through market buy and sell orders and false buy orders, trading approximately 1.22 million C coins and illegally profiting 7.1 billion won. The case was investigated by the Financial Supervisory Service and was transferred to the prosecution in October last year, with an emergency prosecution initiated by the prosecution on January 3 of this year.
