Ripple acquires Palisade to strengthen its digital asset custody and wallet service layout
Ripple announced the acquisition of digital asset wallet and custody company Palisade to expand its enterprise-grade crypto custody service capabilities, with the transaction amount undisclosed.This acquisition is part of its strategic investment of over $4 billion in 2025, which previously included the acquisitions of Hidden Road ($1.25 billion), Rail ($200 million), and GTreasury ($100 million). The acquisition of Palisade will help Ripple provide a complete asset management solution for crypto-native institutions, fintech companies, and enterprise clients, ranging from long-term storage to high-frequency trading. Palisade features MPC, zero-trust architecture, and multi-chain support, which will be directly integrated into Ripple's payment system, enhancing cross-border payment and fund scheduling efficiency.
