According to Chainwire, Lazbubu, an AI companion project in the BNB Chain ecosystem, announced the completion of a strategic funding round led by Metis, with participation from Hotcoin Labs, Honey Capital, APUS Capital, and Becker Ventures. This round of financing will be used for core product development, global user growth, ecosystem partnership expansion, and further improvement of the DAT (Data Anchored Token) mechanism.Lazbubu is an on-chain AI companion agent based on the DAT mechanism, which achieves personalized growth by recording user interaction data (such as conversations, decisions, etc.). All data is anchored through the BNB Chain, ensuring continuous verifiability and user control. Its testnet phase attracted over 80,000 users, generating more than 1 million interactions. The DAT mechanism supports real-time minting of AI interaction behaviors as on-chain assets, allowing users to view, transfer, or combine related data. Future plans for the project include expanding multimodal interaction capabilities, achieving cross-chain compatibility, and launching a community governance mechanism.

According to The Block, the Aave governance forum is discussing a strategy adjustment proposal put forward by ACI, which aims to close low-revenue deployments on chains such as zkSync, Metis, and Soneium, and set a $2 million annual revenue threshold for future deployments.ACI states that these instances cannot cover operational costs and increase the engineering burden. Currently, the "temperature check" snapshot vote has received 100% support, and if passed, it will enter the formal governance process. Last night, it was reported that a new proposal from the Aave community aims to adjust the V3 multi-chain deployment strategy, including increasing the reserve ratio for underperforming networks.

ChainCatcher message, OKX will stop leveraged trading and spot borrowing services for ORBS/USDT, GODS/USDT, VINE/USDT, and METIS/USDT at 1:00 PM on September 26, 2025, and will cancel related market orders. Please users return the borrowed assets in a timely manner before the service is offline to avoid triggering the system's forced repayment.

ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, the decentralized multi-chain trading platform NuDEX has completed a new round of financing, led by MetisDAO Foundation, with participation from Flurry Capital, Waterdrip Capital, YBB Capital, and several strategic investors. The new funds are intended for the upgrade of the GOAT mainnet and the deployment of the node network, the development of the NuOrbit protocol and the promotion of TSS standardization, as well as the integration of developer tools and APIs.

ChainCatcher news, the Metis AI high-performance chain Hyperion testnet officially launched last night at midnight China time. Hyperion is a high-performance, AI-optimized Layer 2 solution designed specifically for AI, DePIN, DeFi, and GameFi. It expands the Metis ecosystem through parallel execution, decentralized ordering, and AI-native infrastructure, while maintaining Ethereum's security and using METIS as the gas token.Hyperion is developed based on the Metis SDK, redefining Layer 2 scalability through MetisVM, MetisDB, and the integration of Optimism Rollup technology with parallel transaction execution. The Metis SDK integrates the Alith Agent framework developed by LazAI, simplifying on-chain verification and off-chain computation tasks, making Hyperion the first Layer 2 protocol to support native on-chain execution of large language models (LLM).

ChainCatcher news, Metis has launched a dual-chain strategy, introducing MetisSDK and announcing the upcoming high-performance chain Hyperion designed for AI-native applications based on MetisSDK.Metis has made further strategic announcements regarding its dual-chain strategy. Metis aims to provide scalable high-performance solutions for the entire blockchain ecosystem based on MetisSDK. Through the integration of the AI-specific layer Hyperion (HYPE) and the foundational layer Andromeda, a complementary Layer2 ecosystem will be built.Andromeda, as the first step for Metis to build a scalable decentralized infrastructure, has achieved a complete decentralized sequencer node architecture, utilizing Optimistic Rollup technology, focusing on general scenarios (such as DeFi and enterprise applications), ensuring security and decentralization. Hyperion, based on MetisSDK, consists of components such as MetisVM and MetisDB. The Metis SDK provides cross-chain development tools to achieve seamless interaction between the two chains; the METIS token will serve as the native Gas Token for the dual chain. It is reported that the Hyperion testnet is scheduled to launch by the end of April 2025, with the mainnet starting in August. Andromeda will achieve Stage 0 upgrade soon and plans to reach Stage 1 goals by the end of the year.

ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, Metis Foundation's Natalia announced at ETH Denver the launch of a new high-performance Layer 2 chain, Metis Hyperion. The new chain guarantees complete compatibility with Ethereum while providing uncompromising security assurance for AI applications, seamless scalability, and enterprise-level system reliability. Its three key innovations include an optimized inference engine, accelerated hardware, and zero-knowledge proofs, which will enable AI models to operate efficiently within blockchain infrastructure while maintaining high security. Its testnet will be launched between February and April 2025, featuring high-performance sorting nodes, initial developer tools, and framework testing capabilities. The mainnet will be delivered between May and August 2025, providing a high-throughput Layer 2 network and a complete developer suite in a production environment. Between September and December of this year, the Metis Hyperion mainnet will undergo upgrades, including instant feedback, parallel execution, and enhanced AI model support.

ChainCatcher news, Metis announced earlier in the Regenesis plan that it will upgrade the existing Andromeda network and release its important technical solutions at ETH Denver, which will provide an innovative foundation for the integration of AI and blockchain applications.Metis will focus on technological upgrades to fully create an AI ecosystem aligned with human values. On this basis, Metis publicly announced its incubation project LazAI. LazAI is an open network aimed at solving data alignment issues, creating a composable and open AI environment through innovative blockchain network structures such as iDAO and new asset standards (Data Anchoring Token).LazAI will strive to serve DeFAI and on-chain Agents through aligned and high-quality data and a transparent operational network. Metis will take LazAI as a starting point to vigorously promote the implementation of AI and blockchain applications.

ChainCatcher message, Metis posted on X that there have been intermittent outages on the Metis network in the past few hours. The issue is caused by the high transaction volume on the mainnet leading to L1DTL congestion. To address this problem, the sequencer is upgrading the L1DTL memory. The fix is currently in progress.

ChainCatcher news, Coinbase Assets announced on platform X that trading for KSM, IILV, ROSE, GNO, and METIS is now open to New York residents. Users can log in on the website, iOS, and Android apps to buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or store these assets.

ChainCatcher news, Metis officially announced the launch of the DSEQ Restart Plan, which is an important upgrade for the Metis ecosystem aimed at providing stronger support and more opportunities for users and project parties. The core of this plan is to promote close interaction among ecosystem participants, drive the joint development of technology and community, and create a sustainable, decentralized prosperous network. This restart focuses on "innovation and optimization," further incentivizing active participation from the community and ecological partners through a brand new performance-based reward mechanism. The DSEQ Restart Plan will offer multiple rewards, including node rewards (up to 5,000 METIS per month), node and LST protocol rewards (an additional up to 10,000 METIS per month), as well as special rewards in the form of tokens from ecological cooperation projects.
