ChainCatcher 消息，Google DeepMind 聯合創始人兼首席 AGI 科學家 Shane Legg、研究、實驗室、技術與社會總裁 James Manyika，以及諾貝爾獎得主、Google DeepMind 聯合創始人兼董事長、Alphabet 首席科學家 Demis Hassabis 宣布推出 DeepMind Institute。三人表示：當今人工智能系統已具備顯著能力，快速的創新表明人類正在接近 AGI，迫切需要跨學科思考，以更好理解其對人類的深遠影響。DeepMind Institute 旨在推動跨學科研究、合作與討論，以回應 AGI 時代最關鍵的技術與社會問題，並作為面向 Google DeepMind、Google 及更廣泛全球研究社區的研究者與思考者平台，用於開展並發布關於 AGI 世界的創意與深入見解。該機構由 Shane Legg、James Manyika 和 Demis Hassabis 擔任主任，Shane Legg 兼任執行主編。
