SIG co-founders donated 100 bitcoins to support the political action committee for encryption

ChainCatcher news, according to informed sources, Jeffrey Yass, co-founder of SIG, donated 100 bitcoins to the "Crypto Freedom PAC" in early July, when the value of bitcoin exceeded $1.9 million. This is the largest political donation in bitcoin recorded by the Federal Election Commission.

According to Joe Kildea, communications director for Crypto Freedom PAC and Club for Growth, Crypto Freedom PAC supports candidates opposing government regulation of cryptocurrency, and Jeffrey Yass's donation expresses support for cryptocurrency. (CoinDesk)
