Web3 is an important milestone in the evolution of the internet. With the advancement of blockchain technology, Web3 enables more participants, including developers and ordinary users, to collaboratively build an unparalleled decentralized world. As the enterprise-level Ethereum Virtual Machine of the public chain EOS, Trust EVM brings the advantages of EOS itself, such as high throughput, high scalability, high security, and low transaction costs, to hundreds of millions of developers and user communities to prosper various fields of Web3.

Trust EVM actively embraces developers and helps support more teams to grow. Recently, Trust EVM announced the hackathon roadmap to the community. Currently, the third round of the Trust EVM hackathon, targeting multiple tracks, has been launched on DoraHacks.io. All developers interested in Web3 are welcome to participate, and we hope participants can turn their inspirations and projects into practice, working together to promote the prosperous development of the Trust EVM ecosystem.

Participants in the Trust EVM hackathon will receive :

  • Generous prizes: A total prize pool of $150,000;
  • Technical support: Each participating project will receive full support from the Trust EVM technical team;
  • Exposure and promotion: Online roadshow events will help projects connect with global investors, and Trust EVM's official Twitter Spaces will give developers the opportunity for in-depth communication with the community;
  • Community support: Trust EVM will introduce the winners to community members and hold a series of activities for members to join.

Schedule (Beijing Time) :

  • Start time: November 21, 2022, 12:00
  • Submission time: November 21, 2022 - February 13, 2023, 13:00
  • Online roadshow time: February 15-17, 2023
  • Review time: February 18-27, 2023
  • Winner announcement time: February 28, 2023

Participation requirements:

  • All projects intending to enter the Trust EVM ecosystem can participate in this hackathon.
  • All projects must be deployed on the Trust EVM testnet/mainnet for review and must be able to launch on the mainnet.
  • All participating projects need to submit:

(1) A complete platform or document containing important information, such as project introduction, business model, vision and roadmap, team member information, etc.;

(2) A publicly displayed 5-minute project demonstration video on YouTube.

(3) A guide on how users can interact with the project.

  • Participants promise that the submitted projects do not violate relevant laws and regulations and do not infringe on any third party's intellectual property or other rights; otherwise, they will be disqualified.
  • All projects must participate in the online roadshow for a 10-minute project demonstration, which is a prerequisite for entering the review stage.

Trust EVM Hackathon Round Three Tracks:

  • DeFi:

Build decentralized financial products using Trust EVM's trustless and transparent solutions, such as asset management tools, DEX, derivatives, stablecoins, etc.

Evaluation Criteria:

  1. Does the project effectively solve the problems arising in the relevant field, and how much impact does it have on the market?
  2. Does the project significantly benefit the development of the Trust EVM ecosystem, or does it promote aspects such as users, TVL, and influence?
  3. How is the project's performance, and how does it perform on Trust EVM?
  • GameFi:

Build blockchain games that include tokens to provide economic incentives for players. Regardless of the content and business model of the GameFi projects established by participants, they can register for this track, and let’s work together to build a better GameFi future.

Evaluation Criteria:

  1. How well does the game utilize Trust EVM? What are the functionalities of the game?
  2. How well is the project design and user experience considered?
  3. Can the project attract a large potential user base?
  • Metaverse, NFT, and SocialFi
  1. Establish an imaginative NFT project or application to support the development of the metaverse, which can include decentralized NFT markets or platforms for all types of NFT applications.
  2. Build decentralized social media applications that include DeFi; SocialFi projects should be created, managed, and owned based on the Web3 (decentralized) concept for social media platforms and user-generated content.

Evaluation Criteria:

  1. How convenient is it for users to use the product/service?
  2. How excellent is the technical implementation?
  3. How good is the project design? Can it overcome challenges with a sustainable economic model?
  • Infrastructure, Tools, and Cutting-edge Technology

Establish infrastructure, tools, or cutting-edge technology projects related to the usability and scalability of Trust EVM and its ecosystem.

Evaluation Criteria:

  1. How is the user experience? How difficult is it for developers or users to use the product/service?
  2. How well does the product address the problems and challenges of Trust EVM and its ecosystem?
  3. If it is a cutting-edge technology project, how innovative is the project? Does it break the existing state in the Web3 field?
  • DAO

Create a DAO on the Trust EVM ecosystem or establish DAO use cases to help the development of the community and the construction of a decentralized world.

Evaluation Criteria:

  1. Does the DAO include effective coordination or fully decentralized work?
  2. How well do participants perform in designing and developing?
  3. Did participants effectively utilize the infrastructure during the construction process?
  4. What impact can participants' contributions bring to Trust EVM?

Winning Project Prizes:

Prize categories (for each track)

First Prize: $5,000

Second Prize: $3,000

Third Prize: $1,000

*Special Rule: Winners of the 1st and 2nd rounds, as well as Ideathon, cannot receive prizes for the 3rd round.

*The total prize pool is $150,000; the total amount of prizes awarded in each category will be determined by the judging panel and project quality.

**Regarding prize distribution: For each winning project, 50% of the prize will be awarded upon deployment to the Trust EVM testnet, and the remaining 50% will be awarded after its launch on the Trust EVM mainnet.
