Genesis affiliates and Wintermute join the FTX unsecured creditors committee

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, a publicly available court document shows that the FTX unsecured creditors committee includes cryptocurrency trading firm Wintermute, venture capital firm Octopus, GGC International, hedge fund Coincident Capital, Wincent Investment Fund PCC, and several individual investors. Among them, GGC International is a Bermuda subsidiary of Genesis Trading, which is owned by Digital Currency Group.

It is reported that the committee will hire its own lawyers and financial advisors to conduct an independent investigation and participate in most negotiations of the bankruptcy case. The incurred costs will be paid by the bankrupt company. (Bloomberg)
