Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) will be open to developers on multiple testnets on July 20
ChainCatcher news, the encrypted oracle provider Chainlink announced the launch of the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), a technology designed to link applications across public and private blockchains, which is now live on Avalanche, Ethereum, Optimism (renamed to OP Mainnet), and the Polygon mainnet.
Chainlink stated that the synthetic asset protocol Synthetix is using CCIP to seamlessly transfer tokens across chains through a highly secure burn-and-mint model. Starting from July 20, developers will be able to use CCIP through five testnets, including: Arbitrum Goerli, Avalanche Fuji, Ethereum Sepolia, Optimism Goerli, and Polygon Mumbai.
