Mastercard partners with Ripple, Consensys, and others to jointly explore the development of CBDC programs

ChainCatcher news, global payment giant Mastercard is developing a CBDC plan in collaboration with initial partners such as Ripple and blockchain development company Consensys. Mastercard's digital assets and blockchain head Raj Dhamodharan stated that the CBDC plan aims to "facilitate collaboration with key players in the field."

It is reported that the initial partners of the plan include Ripple, Consensys, Fireblocks, and tokenized asset service provider Fluency.
