Data: CME Bitcoin futures open interest surpasses 100,000 BTC for the first time, setting a new historical high
ChainCatcher news, K33 Research senior analyst Vetle Lunde stated that yesterday the CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange) saw a net increase of 4,380 BTC in Bitcoin futures open interest, bringing the total open interest in Bitcoin futures on the platform to 100,375 BTC, a record high. Additionally, CME's market share in the Bitcoin derivatives space has risen to 25%, approaching Binance's 29% market share.
