The first offline Meetup of the TON Incubator was successfully held in Hong Kong
On November 28, the first offline Meetup of the TON Incubator was successfully held in Hong Kong. The event was co-hosted by Future3 Campus and the TON Foundation, focusing on "The Future Path of Web3," providing entrepreneurial guidance for participants interested in joining the TON Incubator training and contributing to the Web3 ecosystem, linking industry resources, and seeking common development.
Telegram co-founder Ilya and TON Foundation Chairman Steve jointly delivered a keynote speech titled "Building an Infinite Future on Web3 Super Applications," introducing the milestone progress achieved by Telegram and the TON Foundation, and further outlining their future strategic goals. They pointed out that payments are crucial for the cryptocurrency industry to achieve large-scale applications, and TON plans to launch a global payment system in the coming months to connect various applications within the TON ecosystem; at the same time, the TON community is committed to reaching and empowering 500 million users over the next five years, welcoming global builders to co-create with TON and create new possibilities.
Du Yu, head of the Wanxiang Blockchain Lab / founder of Future3 Campus, introduced the development history and future direction of the Wanxiang Blockchain Lab and Future3 Campus, and detailed the course planning and resource support that TON Bootcamp will bring to the teams entering the program. "TON Bootcamp will focus more on applications that are close to daily life (to make Web3 better serve daily life rather than just purely financial products), infrastructure (to make TON development simpler and more convenient, and improve user experience), etc. This incubator will ultimately select no more than 15 projects for the program, providing more resources and support for teams through carefully selected quality projects and small class courses, truly helping teams to incubate quickly. It is worth mentioning that outstanding projects will have the opportunity to receive millions of dollars in funding, as well as entrepreneurial resource support such as channel expansion and market access."
David Chen, International Strategy Manager of Tencent Cloud, briefly introduced the current development status of Tencent Cloud globally, and then detailed Tencent Cloud's views on the Web3 industry and the support it will provide for TON Bootcamp.
With the successful conclusion of the first offline Meetup of TON Bootcamp, the recruitment of teams for the program has officially entered a heated stage, with over a hundred teams having submitted applications. With less than a month remaining until the recruitment deadline, friends who want to learn about the TON ecosystem and join the TON ecosystem are welcome to work with TON Bootcamp to pave the way to the Web3 world.
