Analysis: Bitcoin has risen for five consecutive trading days, indicating that the market's confidence in the Federal Reserve's interest rate cut prospects this year has strengthened

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, Bitcoin has surpassed the $71,000 mark and has risen for the fifth consecutive trading day, reflecting increased confidence in the global market regarding the Federal Reserve's prospects for interest rate cuts this year.

After data showed a slowdown in U.S. inflation and a weakening job market, traders are anticipating a greater likelihood of the Federal Reserve cutting rates as early as November. Some U.S. Treasury yields have experienced the largest two-day drop this year, and a loosening financial environment may benefit speculative assets like cryptocurrencies.

Tom Couture, Vice President of Digital Asset Strategy at Fundstrat Global Advisors, stated in a report: "The response of crypto assets to declining interest rates is positive."

Additionally, the short-term 30-day correlation between Bitcoin and the Nasdaq 100 Index is at its highest level since the beginning of 2023, indicating that further gains in the index may be accompanied by an increase in Bitcoin.

Michael Novogratz, founder and CEO of Galaxy Digital and billionaire, stated on Bloomberg Television that a more favorable political environment for digital assets in the U.S. could help drive Bitcoin to a record $100,000 by the end of this year, or even higher.
