According to a report by CCTV International News cited by Jinshi, Iranian media such as Tasnim News Agency reported today (March 23) that Iran denied that the Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Qalibaf, is participating in negotiations with the United States.

Earlier, a reporter from the American "Axios News" revealed through social media that U.S. presidential envoy Wittekov and President Trump's son-in-law Kushner "are negotiating with Qalibaf." Israeli media also reported that later this week, senior officials from Iran and the United States will hold talks in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

It is said that the U.S. representative "might be Vice President Pence."
