According to a report by Jinshi citing Xinhua News Agency, Iranian Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian called on regional countries to establish a collective security mechanism "not subject to U.S. interference." During a meeting with Oman's Sultan Haitham in the capital Muscat, Amir-Abdollahian stated that Iran's experience shows that the U.S. military presence in regional countries only leads to turmoil and division in the region. He urged regional countries to jointly build an independent collective security mechanism without U.S. interference.
