According to Jinshi reports, Chen Tiele, the portfolio manager of Brandywine Global Investment Management, stated that the strong non-farm data indicates that the job market is recovering, and the Federal Reserve should focus on inflation issues. The current inflation rate is nearly on par with the unemployment rate (4.3% in May), suggesting that the Federal Reserve may have fallen behind the curve. Inflation swap contracts indicate that traders expect the CPI to exceed 4.2% in July, before falling back to 3.8% in the first quarter.
