Trump's latest approval rating released

2026-08-25 10:24:55

According to a report by Reuters, on August 24 local time, a poll released by Reuters/Ipsos showed that public support in the United States for military action against Iran has fallen to its lowest level since the outbreak of the conflict, which has also kept President Trump's approval ratings at historically low levels.

The four-day survey indicated that only 31% of Americans support military action against Iran, down from 37% in a March poll and 34% earlier in August.

The report noted that the conflict with Iran has continued to damage Trump's public image. Two consecutive polls showed that only 33% of respondents approve of Trump's performance in the White House, the lowest level recorded for Trump since he took office in the Reuters/Ipsos poll.

Additionally, about 83% of Americans expect that the conflict between the U.S. and Iran "will last a long time."

The poll surveyed 1,215 American adults nationwide, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
