CBOE or S&P Dow Jones explores tokenized options
The Chicago Board Options Exchange (Cboe) and index provider S&P Dow Jones Indices announced that they have extended their exclusive licensing agreement for 25 years, which will keep their long-term collaboration going until 2051.
According to the extension agreement, Cboe will continue to hold exclusive trading rights for its flagship S&P 500 Index (SPX) options. Cboe and S&P Dow Jones Industrial Average (S&P DJI) may also collaborate beyond traditional index derivatives to explore innovations, including new products such as tokenized options contracts.
