Baumann: Not in a hurry to further adjust interest rates
The Vice Chair of the Federal Reserve responsible for regulatory affairs, Michelle Bowman, stated that there is currently no urgency to take further action. She pointed out that Federal Reserve officials should take the time to understand current economic trends and the impact of the interest rate hike in September on the economy before deciding whether to adjust policies. Inflation remains above the target, and there is a need for a better understanding of the trends.
