ChainCatcher news, South Korean listed company Bitmax (KOSDAQ: 377030) announced the purchase of an additional 49.06 bitcoins, bringing its total holdings to 300.08 BTC, making it the largest holder of bitcoin among South Korean listed companies. The company stated that it has completed a 50 billion won central bank fundraising and is in the process of raising another 50 billion won, and will continue to increase its bitcoin holdings.Bitmax, formerly known as Maxst Co Ltd, is a South Korean company focused on augmented reality (AR) technology, primarily developing spatial AR platforms and industrial AR platforms. In recent years, the company has repositioned itself as "the world's leading virtual asset strategy company," aiming to maximize corporate value by making virtual assets such as bitcoin the core assets of its financial strategy.
