Bitget partners with UNICEF to launch the second year of cooperation, adding AI courses

Bitget announced the continuation of its partnership with UNICEF GCC into the second year. Since its launch, this alliance has reached over 642,000 adolescents, parents, and teachers across 8 countries, including Armenia, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Morocco, and South Africa, with female participants accounting for 52%. According to the plan, the next phase of GCC courses will introduce new modules such as AI.GCC was initiated by the UNICEF Innovation Office, aiming to provide digital skills education to adolescents in emerging economies. Bitget joined the alliance in June 2025 through a partnership with the Luxembourg UNICEF. In the first year of collaboration, Bitget supported the advancement of the GCC project through various activities, including a visit to Cambodia by Bitget CMO Ignacio Aguirre to observe the digital skills training program, and support from CEO Gracy Chen for the first global UNICEF Game Jam, helping young creators enhance their digital capabilities through game development, mentorship, and online courses.Entering the second year, Bitget will continue to support the expansion of GCC in course development and regional coverage, including the addition of 3 new countries, and promote the implementation of AI courses. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen stated that young people often grow rapidly when given opportunities and resources, and Bitget hopes to help more young people establish long-term digital skills through this collaboration. Thomas Davin, Global Director of the UNICEF Innovation Office, also mentioned that the GCC project aims to address the shortcomings of contemporary youth in digital skills education, and in the future, will empower more youth groups in need of support in collaboration with Bitget.

Bitget launches the first course of the Blockchain4Youth Learning Center, collaborating with Bondex to build a Web3 talent channel

Bitget officially launched the "Blockchain4Youth Learning Center" with its first course, aimed at providing a systematic blockchain learning path for young people and further connecting knowledge learning with career development. After completing the course and passing the assessment, students will receive a certificate of completion issued by Bitget's Chief Marketing Officer Ignacio Aguirre Franco, serving as an official certification of their Web3 capabilities. Certificate holders can gain more industry exposure and priority employment opportunities among the partner employers of the Blockchain4Youth Talent Alliance. To bridge the gap from learning to employment, Bitget has partnered with the Web3 recruitment platform Bondex to provide students with a transparent job-seeking channel and a talent pool connection mechanism. Bondex co-founder Ignacio Palomera stated that the project aims to address the real issues faced by learners, such as "lack of industry connections after completing the course, insufficient effective certification, and unclear job-seeking paths," building a more direct bridge between young talent and recruiting companies. So far, the Bitget Blockchain4Youth series of projects has attracted over 15,000 young participants. Bitget CMO Ignacio Aguirre Franco pointed out that the goal of the learning center is to transform young people's interest in Web3 into a tangible entry path. As the program continues to advance, Blockchain4Youth is gradually evolving from a single event project into a long-term infrastructure focused on Web3 education, career guidance, and talent development.

Vitalik: Plans to fully return to decentralized social in 2026, competition and decentralization are the starting points for improving public discourse

Vitalik Buterin stated that he plans to fully return to decentralized social networks in 2026, believing that if we want to build a better society, we must have better large-scale communication tools. These tools should help people filter high-quality information and opinions, find consensus, and serve the long-term interests of users rather than maximizing short-term interactions and emotional conflicts.Vitalik pointed out that there is no "one-size-fits-all" solution to the above problems, but enhancing competition is an important starting point, and decentralization is the key path to achieving competition: by sharing a data layer that allows anyone to build different clients on top of it. He revealed that since the beginning of this year, he has started using decentralized social tools for reading and posting, with all content synchronized across platforms like X, Lens, Farcaster, and Bluesky through Firefly. He also criticized some crypto social projects for deviating from their original intentions, overly viewing "token issuance" as innovation, and attempting to create price bubbles around individuals to incentivize creators. However, practice shows that such models often reward existing social capital rather than content quality, and the lifecycle of tokens is short. Vitalik emphasized that money and social interaction are not inherently in conflict; the key is whether they truly serve the content itself, such as through subscription-based support models rather than speculative asset designs. In his view, decentralized social should be driven by teams that genuinely care about the "essence of social interaction." Vitalik acknowledged the Aave team's previous long-term maintenance of Lens and expressed anticipation for the direction of the new team, believing they are more focused on solving real social problems. He stated that in the coming year, he will speak more on decentralized social platforms and encourage more users to participate in ecosystems like Lens and Farcaster, breaking free from the information adversarial environment of a single platform and exploring new forms of interaction.
