ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Chainlink, JPMorgan's Kinexys, and Ondo Finance have completed a "first-of-its-kind" cross-chain payment delivery (DvP) settlement test, achieving asset exchange between a permissioned payment network and a public test network.Chainlink stated that this test involved the permissioned network Kinexys Digital Payments operated by JPMorgan and the Ondo Chain testnet focused on the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA).The settlement was coordinated by Chainlink's Runtime Environment (CRE). CRE is an off-chain computing layer designed to support cross-chain interoperability in financial systems. In this transaction, the core asset is Ondo's tokenized U.S. Treasury fund OUSG, which is exchanged for payment through the Kinexys platform.
