first_img Robinhood Chain saw over 17% of tokenized stocks locked in Meme coin trading pairs, with 31% of the trading volume coming from Meme coin pairs

DeFiprime founder Nick Sawinyh analyzed that the Meme coin issuance platform on the Robinhood Chain is massively using tokenized stocks as paired assets. As of September 1, approximately 17.2% of the on-chain supply of 19 high liquidity Robinhood stock tokens is locked in 432 pools that use stock tokens as quoted assets, contributing 31.3% of the DEX trading volume of related stock tokens in the past 24 hours. The four issuance platforms Long, Bankr, Flap, and PAIR have set stock-paired Meme coins as default products.Among them, the AI/NVDA pool holds 8,783 NVDA (accounting for 16.2% of the total on-chain tokenized NVDA), with a 24-hour trading volume of about $6.2 million; the BONER/HIMS pool holds 37,172 HIMS (accounting for 50.4% of the total HIMS on the chain), with a trading volume of about $12.5 million. This mechanism has led to significant premiums for some tokenized stocks over the weekend (when issuers cannot issue more), with HIMS once trading at a premium of 112% compared to the NYSE closing price. The TVL of the Robinhood Chain has nearly doubled since August 1 to $740 million, with on-chain DEX daily trading volume reaching $1.49 billion on August 31. The analysis points out that 9 stock tokens have an on-chain circulating market value of less than $1.5 million, and a single Meme coin pool can absorb a large proportion of the circulating supply. This analysis is based on specific block snapshot data, with prices and pool balances changing rapidly.

first_img Silhouette launches the xStocks inquiry trading system on Hyperliquid

According to The Block, Hyperliquid's block trading layer Silhouette launched its Request for Quote (RFQ) trading system on the mainnet on Tuesday, initially supporting tokenized stocks from Payward's tokenized stock framework xStocks. Silhouette stated that the system allows traders to initiate quote requests for any supported xStock and receive competitive quotes from connected market makers, with winning trades able to settle on-chain at any time and in any size.The RFQ system enables trading of supported xStocks without a dedicated order book, and tokens that generate sufficient trading activity can subsequently be upgraded to an independent HyperCore market. Silhouette founder Chandler De Kock mentioned that while tokenized stocks continue to go on-chain, they mostly lack trading venues, and market makers compete for each trade, with settlement completed on-chain, proving that assets with real liquidity will be upgraded to their own HyperCore market.xStocks was launched in June 2025 and is said to have processed over $40 billion in total trading volume, covering more than 200,000 holders, with nearly $20 billion settled on-chain. The platform issues publicly listed stock tokens pegged 1:1, and its business has expanded from U.S. stocks to European and Asian markets. RWA.xyz data shows that the existing tokenized stocks amount to approximately $2.53 billion, with xStocks accounting for about $620.1 million, ranking as the third-largest issuer, following Ondo (approximately $856.3 million) and bStocks (approximately $621.5 million).

The parent company of Kraken, Payward, announced a partnership with the London Stock Exchange (LSE) to tokenize the stocks of the 100 largest companies listed on the LSE into xStocks, which are backed 1:1. The first London-listed xStocks are expected to be launched on Kraken and other platforms supporting the xStocks Alliance in the coming weeks, available to investors in over 110 countries, but not yet open to UK investors.Subject to regulatory approval, the LSE plans to list and support xStocks trading on its newly launched extended trading hours, LSE 24. LSE CEO Julia Hoggett stated that by collaborating with Payward and continuously working with the market infrastructure ecosystem, they are exploring how issuers and investors can benefit from new access methods while maintaining the standards that underpin the public market. In addition to tokenizing existing stocks, both parties will also explore the issuance of native equity tokens through LSE infrastructure, which have the same rights as traditional stocks and are fully interchangeable.Payward's tokenized stock framework was launched in June 2025 and acquired by Payward in December, having processed over $40 billion in total trading volume, covering more than 200,000 holders, with nearly $20 billion settled on-chain. According to RWA.xyz data, there are currently approximately $2.53 billion in existing tokenized stocks, with xStocks tokenizing about $606.6 million, making it the second-largest issuer after Ondo.

first_img The London Stock Exchange collaborates with Kraken's parent company Payward to tokenize UK large-cap stocks on the blockchain

The London Stock Exchange (LSEG) and Payward, the parent company of the cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, announced a partnership to bring stocks of the largest listed companies in the UK onto the blockchain. In the coming weeks, the stocks of the top 100 companies listed on the LSE will be available on Payward's xStocks tokenized stock framework. These xStocks are tokens that correspond one-to-one with the underlying stocks, allowing for 24/7 trading on centralized exchanges, self-custody wallets, and on-chain applications.This initiative continues the rapidly expanding framework of Payward. Over the past year, the cumulative trading volume of xStocks has exceeded $40 billion, with nearly $20 billion settled on-chain, and more than 200,000 product holders. Through the blockchain channel, UK-listed stocks will be able to reach investor groups in over 110 countries, although xStocks are currently not available to domestic UK investors.Subject to regulatory approval, the LSE plans to list and support xStocks trading on its newly launched 24-hour trading platform, LSE 24, and will gradually cover tokenized stocks and more asset classes in the US, EU, UK, and Hong Kong. Both parties also stated that they will explore stock tokens issued natively by the LSE, allowing LSE members to issue and service stocks directly on-chain, with the same full interchangeability and rights as traditional stocks. Payward Co-CEO Arjun Sethi stated that for years, people have assumed that crypto and traditional finance must collide and one side would lose, but that has never been the real story;
