TOKEN2049 is Asia's premier Web3 conference, returning to Singapore this year for its highly anticipated event. Today, the organization announced its first batch of high-profile title sponsors and keynote speakers. TOKEN2049 will take place at Marina Bay Sands from September 13 to 14, 2023, ahead of the 2023 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix weekend.
TOKEN2049 is set to welcome over 10,000 attendees from more than 3,500 companies, making it the largest event of its kind this year. The conference's return to Singapore underscores the long-standing importance of Asia in driving growth and innovation within the global digital asset ecosystem. Following a record-breaking related event held successfully in Singapore in 2022, TOKEN2049 will host over 300 side events across the city-state from September 11 to 17, providing various networking opportunities.
Alex Fiskum, co-founder of TOKEN2049, expressed, "We are seeing unprecedented appeal and widespread interest; to date, our ticket registration numbers and confirmed speakers, sponsors, and partners have all reached historic highs. We expect TOKEN2049 Singapore to be the largest Web3 event of the year. It will be an unforgettable experience, surpassing our previous events in scale, activities, and overall excitement."
The 2023 conference agenda features new members gathering global industry leaders, top decision-makers, and innovators, including hacker houses, tech workshops, and NFT galleries. The 2023 event has already exceeded last year's attendance, sponsorship, and speaker numbers before officially taking place in September, and that number continues to rise steadily.
This year's agenda covers the evolving regulatory landscape, the rise of artificial intelligence, Web3 gaming, NFTs, and the metaverse, scalability, interoperability, and more. The impressive lineup of speakers includes Balaji Srinivasan, founder, investor, and author of The Network State; Joe Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum and founder of ConsenSys; Stani Kulechov, founder and CEO of Aave; Mike Novogratz, CEO of Galaxy Digital; Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder of Polygon; and Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple. Additionally, a range of leading industry figures will also be in attendance.
"This is our second year combining TOKEN2049 with the Singapore Grand Prix, where we will unveil the new McLaren OKX custom livery. There’s no better way to kick off this exciting weekend and bring together Web3 and F1 fans. This year, we will help people see the future of Web3 through our latest 'Rewrite the System' initiative, and Singapore is the perfect place for us to showcase these efforts," said Haider Rafique, Chief Marketing Officer of OKX.
The diversity of this year's TOKEN2049 Singapore title sponsors showcases the inherent vitality of the industry.
