Uniswap founder Hayden: Correlated trading pairs will drive AMM into the global financial market

Uniswap founder Hayden posted on the X platform, stating that correlated trading pairs are forming. The top five tokenized SPY trading pairs by trading volume serve as "bridge" trading pairs connecting other common underlying trading pairs, primarily linking to tokenized stocks with higher correlations. This type of market is characterized by globalization, programmability, low costs, and 24/7 operation.Hayden stated that he has been working on the forefront of DeFi for 9 years and believes that AMM has enormous potential. After years of evolution and development, the path for AMM to achieve global dominance is becoming increasingly clear. Tokenization has changed the existence of markets, market makers, and the objects of market trading. Since its launch, Uniswap has been operating autonomously, with a cumulative trading volume exceeding $4.6 trillion, and has increased the share of spot trading volume on decentralized exchanges from less than 1% to over 20%.As AMMs like Uniswap continue to evolve, their liquidity has formed a pattern that most financial markets have yet to notice: correlated trading pairs. AMMs have found a product-market fit in long-tail markets, as most assets previously could not attract the attention of professional market makers. DeFi and AMM have lowered the barriers to market making, opening the market to more participants. Liquidity will concentrate in the places with the lowest risk, rather than being forced to remain in places constrained by traditional infrastructure.

first_img Analysis: The demand for AI infrastructure is longer than that of the internet, and general programming still drives ARR

Analysis of the AI semiconductor and infrastructure cycle indicates that the demand for AI infrastructure will continue to exceed that of the internet era, as user penetration and per capita token are multiplied and converted into tokens, significantly raising the ceiling. User penetration has surpassed 50%, with growth primarily coming from the still-early per capita token; the median monthly AI spending per employee in U.S. companies is about $12, which could long-term approach around 10% of white-collar salaries, approximately $1,000 per month, leaving nearly two orders of magnitude of space in between. Unlike the flat subscriptions and extremely low marginal hardware consumption of the internet, the high costs of inference make the marginal cost of a single access higher, requiring greater infrastructure intensity. After developers program, the next ARR growth will still mainly come from broad programming: non-programmers use programming infrastructure to complete non-programming tasks across industries, with programming becoming the default execution kernel for agents. Tasks related to broad programming account for about 60% to 70% of ARR. As of June 2026, Codex accounted for 64% of the total output tokens from Codex and ChatGPT among OpenAI's enterprise clients; since February, Codex has seen a much higher weekly growth in verticals such as law, sales recruitment, and marketing compared to engineering. In Anthropic's revenue, narrow development/software accounts for about 40%, while finance and insurance exceed 20%, with law, life sciences, retail, and others also having considerable shares. The demand-side token growth logic remains, with a high overlap between funders and beneficiaries.

first_img Uniswap founder: Tokenization will reshape the market-making landscape, and AMM is still in its early stages

Uniswap founder Hayden Adams stated that after nine years of DeFi practice, the path for AMM to become the core engine of the global financial market is becoming increasingly clear. He pointed out that tokenization is not only an infrastructure upgrade but also changes who provides liquidity and what is traded in the market. The SEC has approved Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange to trade tokenized stocks, and the DTCC also conducted live testing of tokenized trading in July.Adams believes that traditional market makers vertically integrate capital, strategy, execution, settlement, and distribution, which is costly; blockchain disassembles these components, making capital a scarce input. Liquidity providers who already hold relevant assets or are the issuers themselves can bear inventory exposure at zero cost, thereby weakening professional market makers with lower capital costs. An on-chain "related asset pair" model has naturally formed (such as the Ethereum ecosystem pairing with ETH and stablecoins), as correlation reduces inventory risk and deepens liquidity. He cited that there are already 10 tokenized stocks on the Robinhood Chain forming a Uniswap pool with SPY, which has traded approximately $33 million in 12 days, with some trades occurring directly between stocks without touching the dollar. Adams also stated that although Uniswap's cumulative trading volume has reached about $4.6 trillion, AMM is still in its early stages, and there is significant room for improvement in subsequent design and ecosystem.

A scammer chatted for over a month to set up a virtual currency "mining" scam, defrauding more than 30 people of over 3 million yuan

According to Qilu Evening News, a new type of virtual currency "staking mining" scam has recently emerged. Scammers create a perfect persona through long-term friendships on social platforms, chatting with victims for one to two months to build trust. They then guide victims to switch to overseas private communication software such as WhatsApp and Discord, inducing them to download fake mining platforms and sign contracts for authorization. Using the asset transfer permissions from the contracts, they quietly transfer funds from the victims' accounts in the background. The scammers never mention sensitive words like "investment" or "financial management," packaging the scam as "idle computing power staking mining," claiming zero risk and stable returns, and using small rebates to entice victims to increase their investments. Currently, most victims are young people with side job needs, with known losses exceeding 3 million yuan, and the highest individual loss exceeding 300,000 yuan. Victims are spread across many regions of the country. Lawyers remind that virtual currency transactions are not protected by law, and any strangers on social platforms inducing a switch to overseas software or requesting wallet authorization for unfamiliar contracts should be regarded as scams. Do not make secondary transfers.

ZachXBT: American female scammer impersonates customer service to steal over 5 million dollars in cryptocurrency assets

On-chain detective ZachXBT posted that U.S. threat actor Tiffany Milanovich participated in the theft of approximately $5 million in crypto assets by impersonating hardware wallet and centralized exchange customer service. Her methods included disguising as Bitcoin IRA email support, during one attack transferring about $1.2 million in BTC and ETH from the victim's Trezor wallet, and in another case stealing about $500,000 in BTC from a Coinbase account. Tiffany induced victims to hand over access to their funds under the guise of "customer service calls," later boasting about the stolen money on social media and Telegram groups, mocking victims with recordings, and collaborating with other threat actors to launder money using phishing panels and instant exchange services, with some of the stolen funds still dormant on-chain.The threat actor codenamed "Tiffany" is suspected of participating in multiple crypto asset thefts, gambling the stolen funds at crypto casinos. The platform Shuffle has frozen related accounts based on evidence submitted by ZachXBT; Tiffany previously shared a search and seizure warrant from Connecticut, dated before some of the incidents involved.ZachXBT has obtained chat logs, recordings, and on-chain evidence, anticipating that this individual may face further legal consequences. This threat actor is also linked to the John Daghita (Lick) case, who is suspected of stealing over $46 million in crypto assets from a U.S. government-seized wallet.

AMD launches enterprise-level AI programming platform Instinct Coder

AMD officially launched the on-premises AI programming platform AMD Instinct Coder for enterprises, integrating AMD EPYC processors, AMD Instinct GPUs, Supermicro AI servers, Spectro Cloud PaletteAI inference launch platform software, and the GLM-5.2 model optimized by AMD inference microservices, forming a comprehensive solution that is pre-integrated from hardware to software and can be quickly deployed.AMD stated that the total cost of ownership of this platform can reduce costs by up to 70% compared to using cloud-based cutting-edge models, with a capital recovery period as short as 6 months, directly addressing the two core pain points that enterprises commonly encounter in AI programming assistant pilots: the cost impact of cloud models and the data security risks of third-party services.Spectro Cloud's PaletteAI platform provides intelligent routing capabilities, allowing for strategic automatic switching between on-premises inference and cloud-based cutting-edge models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and xAI, and is equipped with token quotas, audit tracking, and Grafana dashboards to visualize cost comparisons between on-premises and cloud environments, fully compatible with standard operating systems and Kubernetes. Each node can support up to 50 users and is compatible with mainstream development tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Visual Studio Code, and Cursor.IDC executives commented that this platform "directly addresses the core needs of enterprises wanting AI programming productivity without the unpredictable cloud costs or risks of exposing source code." AMD's move shifts the AI programming assistant from a pure service model billed by usage to an infrastructure investment model with pre-planned costs.

The IRS warns cryptocurrency holders that scammers are mailing fake letters to steal assets or data

According to Bloomberg, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has warned cryptocurrency holders that scammers are contacting some taxpayers by mailing fake letters in an attempt to steal their digital assets or personal data. The IRS stated that these letters may ask taxpayers to register for a so-called "Digital Asset Compliance Portal," which does not exist. The IRS also reminds users not to scan suspicious QR codes and not to answer or cooperate with calls requesting payment. While phishing and digital scams are not new in the cryptocurrency industry, sending fake IRS notices through physical mail seems to be a new scam tactic. Since the IRS has indeed sent letters related to digital assets to taxpayers in the past, and last year saw a surge in cryptocurrency tax filing notifications, many taxpayers are confused, which may lead scammers to exploit this familiarity for disguise. As the U.S. tax system requires taxpayers to disclose cryptocurrency activities on their tax returns, communication between the IRS and cryptocurrency holders has become more common. This also makes counterfeit tax notices more misleading. For cryptocurrency users, encountering "IRS letters" involving portal registration, QR code scanning, wallet connections, or payment requests should be treated with caution, and verification should be done through official channels.
