Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, stated via video link at the G20 summit held in Asheville, North Carolina, on Tuesday that the productivity improvements brought by AI are already evident, and robotics technology will further push productivity to new heights. He predicts that AI could increase the global economy's scale by 20% to 30%, adding approximately $20 trillion to $30 trillion to annual economic output.Musk forecasts that the number of humanoid robots worldwide will reach 1 billion within the next decade, with these robots producing at least five times more than humans. The widespread application of humanoid robots could expand the global economy's scale by more than tenfold. He also predicts that by the end of next year, AI will be able to handle almost all digital tasks that do not involve changing the real physical world, with AI software reaching Stockfish levels, making it impossible for humans to compete in software development. He expects that within 12 to 18 months, AI will excel in all forms of engineering and digital work.As Musk made these remarks, SpaceX is ramping up its investment in AI. SpaceX's AI business generated $2.6 billion in revenue in the second quarter, a year-on-year increase of 247%. The company invested $15.8 billion in AI infrastructure in the second quarter, primarily for the expansion of the Colossus II data center, accounting for about 86% of total capital expenditures. According to Cointelegraph, the market value of tokenized real-world assets (RWA) on the Stellar blockchain is expected to grow by approximately 360% by 2026, rising from $868.8 million at the end of last year to nearly $4 billion. The Dune Analytics dashboard maintained by Stellar shows that as of August 29, the market value of RWA on the network reached $3.996 billion, covering asset classes such as U.S. Treasury bonds, private and public credit, and non-U.S. government debt.The concentration of issuers is relatively high, with Spiko leading at $1.55 billion, followed by Realiz ($559 million), Tradable ($548 million), Franklin Templeton ($546 million), and Ondo ($535 million). Stellar has also made breakthroughs in the non-U.S. government debt sector, with the Stellar Development Foundation citing data from RWA.xyz stating that as of August 20, the network held approximately $490 million in such assets, including tokenized Mexican CETES and Brazilian government bonds issued through Etherfuse.Institutional adoption continues to drive growth. In May, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) announced plans to integrate its tokenization services with Stellar, with DTC tokenized assets expected to go live in the first half of 2027, potentially supporting tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds, major index ETFs, and Russell 1000 constituents. In July, Tradable announced plans to bring up to $1 billion in private credit assets to Stellar.

The aforementioned telecom operator's subscription and API ratio has changed from about 50%/50% to 40%/60%, and it may trend towards 35%/65%; mid-to-large biopharmaceutical company A has adjusted from 80%/20% to about 70%/30%. Open-source adoption is uneven, with active scenario usage accounting for 30%--40%, as the unit price is lower, leading to a smaller spending proportion; experts estimate that open-source inference can be about 40%--70% cheaper than closed-source cutting-edge models, with the gap narrowing to 20%--40% under full cost metrics, and model routing, caching, and context compression could further reduce API spending by about 20%--30%.On the production side, AI budgets are increasingly built from the bottom up based on workflow ROI. The typical production ROI for this telecom operator is about 1.5--2 times, with a payback period of 6--18 months, and mature use cases can reach 3--5 times. The next wave of spending is related to agents, software modernization, network operations, commoditized workflows, and longer-cycle business processes, but engineering capacity, process reengineering, governance, and data readiness are becoming tighter constraints than funding.
