SharpLink holds $1.46 billion in Ethereum, with a loss of $394 million in Q2
According to Cointelegraph, the second-largest Ethereum treasury company SharpLink disclosed a net loss of $394 million in the second quarter of 2026, compared to a loss of $103 million in the same period last year. The losses include $321 million in unrealized cryptocurrency losses and a $76 million impairment on staked ETH.SharpLink's revenue in the second quarter was $11.5 million, with $11.1 million coming from ETH staking income; cash and cash equivalents were $56 million, up from $28 million in December 2025. SharpLink currently holds approximately 863,000 ETH, with a total value of $1.46 billion, ranking second. The company also holds 632,784 ETH and an additional 181,321 ETH through various liquid staking ETH tokens, valued at $1.2 billion and $343 million, respectively.After pausing purchases for 8 months, SharpLink resumed buying ETH in late June, initially purchasing $7.8 million worth, followed by another purchase of 10,000 ETH for approximately $16 million a few days later. The company's stock price fell 3.9% on Monday, with a cumulative decline of 30% for the year.
