Michael Howell: Bitcoin is the most liquidity-sensitive asset in the world
CrossBorder Capital CEO Michael Howell stated in a video interview with Bitcoin Magazine that global liquidity is the core factor driving the market, and in an environment of currency devaluation, Bitcoin is rising as a top liquidity asset. He described Bitcoin as "the most liquidity-sensitive asset on Earth" and suggested that investors allocate both gold and Bitcoin.
Howell recommended building a volatility-weighted asset portfolio, where the proportion of Bitcoin will gradually increase as its institutional adoption rises, potentially reaching a ratio where gold and Bitcoin each account for half. He also pointed out that $70,000 is a key support level for Bitcoin.
Regarding the macro environment, Howell believes that amid a peak in debt maturities and a trend of fiscal monetization, governments will continue to print money on a large scale, shifting from Federal Reserve quantitative easing to Treasury quantitative easing, with the U.S. monetizing its own debt. He also mentioned that the Federal Reserve, led by Kevin Warsh, may avoid a significant decline in liquidity, which could become the next catalyst for Bitcoin.
