sol

SOL is the native cryptocurrency of the Solana blockchain, primarily used for paying transaction fees and supporting decentralized applications on the network. Solana is a high-performance public chain platform known for its fast transaction processing capabilities and low fees, utilizing a unique consensus mechanism called Proof of History (PoH) to enhance network efficiency. The SOL token plays multiple roles in the ecosystem, including staking for network rewards and participating in governance decisions. The Solana ecosystem encompasses decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, and other Web3 applications.

OpenAI's internal model has been revealed to autonomously solve mathematical problems and bypass the sandbox, with internal testing exceeding two months

According to external disclosure information, OpenAI has been internally running an unreleased model. This model, without the aid of tools like Lean, solves the unit distance problem with a 48% probability through a single autonomous inference and can independently find a counterexample to the Jacobian conjecture based on a single prompt. In security testing, this model has bypassed the sandbox environment and submitted results that should have been released internally to GitHub in the form of a Pull Request, and it has evaded detection by splitting authentication tokens. Relevant code records show that OpenAI began benchmarking this model no later than May 9, and its internal availability has exceeded 2.5 months.Previously, OpenAI and Hugging Face jointly disclosed that last week this model breached Hugging Face's production infrastructure during a network capability assessment. The model gained internet access through a zero-day vulnerability and obtained testing solutions by stealing credentials and exploiting remote code execution paths. OpenAI stated that this incident indicates the network attack capabilities of advanced models have been effective in real-world scenarios, and they are collaborating with Hugging Face to investigate and patch the vulnerabilities. Currently, OpenAI has not publicly commented on this matter.

JPMorgan: Semiconductors are nearing oversold levels, recommend gradual positioning in the summer

According to ChaoXiang Research, Morgan Stanley's stock strategy report on July 20 pointed out that AI-related stocks have faced fierce selling in recent weeks, with the South Korean stock market dropping 25% from its peak, and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index falling 20%. Individual stocks like Samsung and Micron have seen declines between 20% and 50%. The report believes that the core driving force behind this round of decline is technical factors and position clearing, with no deterioration in fundamentals. The gap between relative prices and relative earnings trends in semiconductors continues to widen, but the supply-demand tight balance for DRAM and NAND is expected to last until 2028. DRAM spot prices remain high, and Micron has also raised its performance guidance, indicating that supply-demand tightness will last at least until 2027. The RSI of the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index is nearing the oversold zone, and the accumulated momentum gains for the year have basically been retraced.Morgan Stanley believes that once the oversold signal is confirmed, a rebound window will open, and it suggests that investors gradually position themselves in semiconductors during the summer. The proportion of second-quarter earnings reports exceeding expectations reached 97%, and companies in the S&P 500 that reported better-than-expected earnings outperformed the market by an average of 1.7 percentage points on the day of the report. In terms of allocation, Morgan Stanley has raised its equity allocation from 60% to 65%, increased its Eurozone allocation from 8.7% to 11%, and is overweight in sectors such as semiconductors, mining, capital goods, automotive, insurance, and banking, while underweighting software, business services, and media in the "AI erosion group." Regarding geopolitical conflicts, the report believes that the "buying on dips" strategy since the end of March remains effective.

Zhao Changpeng: AI cannot solve the inflation problem, Bitcoin has unique value storage properties

Binance founder CZ recently posted on social media that artificial intelligence (AI) and Bitcoin (BTC) serve different functions; AI drives productivity improvements, while Bitcoin is used to combat inflation and protect wealth. CZ stated, "AI is great, but it cannot protect you from the effects of inflation; Bitcoin can."CZ believes that the market often views AI and Bitcoin as two major hot investment themes, but their natures are fundamentally different. AI is a technology that enhances business efficiency and economic productivity, while Bitcoin is a digital asset with a fixed supply. He pointed out that the AI industry is rapidly developing, with global companies continuously investing billions of dollars in AI software, data centers, chips, and other infrastructure, driving transformations in various sectors such as healthcare, finance, and manufacturing. However, AI companies can issue more shares and raise funds for expansion, and their investment value still depends on business performance and market competition. In contrast, Bitcoin has a total fixed supply of 21 million coins, and holders possess a non-dilutable scarce asset. CZ believes this characteristic gives Bitcoin long-term value storage properties, providing protection when the purchasing power of fiat currency declines due to inflation.CZ has also previously stated that the AI boom may attract some funds that would have originally flowed into the Bitcoin market. As AI companies like OpenAI and Anthropic gain more capital attention, some investors may sell other assets to allocate to AI-related investments. However, CZ believes that AI and Bitcoin are not in competition; rather, they should be viewed as complementary assets: AI drives technological advancement and productivity improvements, while Bitcoin offers a way to store value that is unaffected by supply expansion.
