ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Bernstein analysts stated that despite the controversy between Robinhood and OpenAI last week, the regulatory environment will still drive the "wave of equity tokenization."

Robinhood launched tokenized stock products in Cannes, including stocks from over 200 publicly listed U.S. companies and equity from private companies like OpenAI, but OpenAI immediately stated that it had not authorized any tokens representing its stock.

Robinhood positions these products as derivatives backed by special purpose vehicles and stated that the SEC's supportive stance and the CLARITY Act will pave the way for the tokenized asset market. Analysts believe that the regulatory environment is evolving in favor of equity tokenization, which will provide investors with more liquidity options.
