Bitget UEX continues to expand, now supporting over 340 popular US stock assets

As the U.S. stock earnings season and the narrative of tech giants in AI continue to advance, according to official news from Bitget, the platform has recently added 10 popular U.S. stock contract targets. So far, Bitget's panoramic exchange (UEX) has supported 263 U.S. stock tokens and 81 U.S. stock contracts, bringing the total number of U.S. stock-related assets available for trading on the platform to over 340.This week marks the beginning of a period with a dense release of earnings reports and macroeconomic data. Through continuous expansion, Bitget aims to provide users with a wide range of cross-market asset allocation channels. This week's three major focus targets:NVDA (NVIDIA): Will release its Q1 earnings report after the market closes on May 20, Eastern Time. The implied volatility in the options market indicates that the daily fluctuation may exceed 7.5%. As the core of AI computing power, its performance will directly impact the overall valuation trend of the tech sector.GOOGL (Google): Recently, at the I/O conference, multiple new products such as Gemini 3.5 and AI agents were intensively launched, and the market is closely watching the subsequent commercialization pace and revenue realization capabilities.WMT (Walmart): Will release its Q1 earnings report before the market opens on May 21. As a retail giant, Walmart's counter-cyclical ability during a consumer downturn is being tested, and the results and guidance from the earnings report will directly influence investors' judgments on annual growth expectations and short-term stock performance.

Glassnode: The synchronized strength of buying in both the futures and spot markets has driven Bitcoin up to $82,000, but the market has now reached a state of balance

Glassnode's latest weekly report indicates that Bitcoin slowly climbed from $77,000 to $82,000 last week, with buying pressure continuing to support during the pullback, even as momentum began to cool near local highs. The spot CVD surged, reflecting strong bullish sentiment and a firm belief in price increases. Meanwhile, spot trading volume also increased, indicating that the recent price trend gained more support with heightened investor participation. However, the easing of price momentum suggests that buying and selling pressures are becoming more balanced, implying that the market may be entering a stabilization phase. The situation in the futures market is similar, with a rise in risk appetite. The increase in open interest indicates heightened speculative activity, with investors willing to take on more risk; the perpetual contract CVD surged, indicating sustained bullish momentum. However, the decline in long funding rates suggests a shift towards bearish sentiment, and bullish sentiment may have weakened. In the options market, the demand for downside protection has decreased, while open interest has increased, indicating a shift in market expectations towards neutral or slightly bullish. However, the volatility spread has surged significantly, indicating that the risks reflected in options pricing are much higher than the actual risks, reflecting a notable increase in participant uncertainty. In summary, supported by stronger on-chain activity, healthier profitability, and more stable holder positions, Bitcoin's market structure continues to improve. Although bullish sentiment is strengthening, the slowdown in capital inflows and cautious market sentiment suggest that the market remains sensitive to changes in risk appetite.

Ethereum Foundation releases progress on the Glamsterdam upgrade: the development network is now online, and the Hegotá expansion roadmap is advancing simultaneously

The Ethereum Foundation disclosed the results of a recent interoperability meeting held by core developers in the Svalbard archipelago of Norway and updated the key technical progress for the next phase upgrade, Glamsterdam. During the meeting, multiple client teams collaborated on network scalability and execution layer optimization, making progress in several directions. Developers confirmed that based on the comprehensive results of ePBS, BAL optimization, and the EIP-8037 repricing mechanism, a consensus on the "trusted path" after Glamsterdam has been reached. In terms of the execution layer, ePBS (External Proposer Separation Architecture) has been stably running in the multi-client Glamsterdam-devnet, and the external block builder process has completed end-to-end testing, covering almost all client implementations. Meanwhile, EIP-8037 has been finalized, establishing the fixed cost_per_state_byte model, and complete repricing parameter output has been achieved in bal-devnet-6. The scalability direction Hegotá has also made progress. The FOCIL-related prototype has a runnable implementation, and the scope of account abstraction (AA) requirements has been defined, with the next phase entering the multi-client development network verification stage.Current development focus remains on the final implementation of Glamsterdam while advancing the Hegotá scalability design and subsequent Strawmap route evolution. The development network is online, and functionalities such as FOCIL are expected to continue deepening in the next phase of testing. At the organizational level, this interop meeting also marks the formal initiation of leadership structure adjustments within the Protocol Cluster. The new leaders include Will Corcoran, Kev Wedderburn, and Fredrik. Will Corcoran is responsible for zkVM proof and post-quantum consensus coordination, Kev Wedderburn leads zkEVM development, and Fredrik is in charge of protocol security and the Trillion Dollar Security project.Original Protocol Cluster leadership team members Barnabé Monnot and Tim Beiko will gradually step back from management roles, and Alex Stokes is entering a leave period. The foundation stated that during its term, the Protocol has completed modular advancement and facilitated the launch of the Fusaka upgrade (December 2025), introduced PeerDAS, and enhanced mainnet gas capacity.
