Ripple has reached a multi-year marketing partnership with the University of Florida, and the XRP logo will appear at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, on digital platforms, and on Gainesville event branding starting this football season. The University of Florida Athletic Department officially announced the news on Friday.In addition to brand exposure, Ripple has also committed to providing financial and technological education support for University of Florida student-athletes and the broader campus community, covering both traditional finance and digital assets. University of Florida Athletic Director Scott Stricklin stated that Florida has a long history of embracing innovation and technology, and Ripple has become an innovative leader in the fintech space, looking forward to XRP joining Gator Nation.This is Ripple's latest foray into college sports marketing, having previously signed a multi-year agreement with the University of Kansas earlier this year to feature the XRP logo on Jayhawks basketball team jerseys. At the time of the announcement, the price of XRP was approximately $1.41, up 0.6% in 24 hours, and up about 34.9% over the past 30 days, but still down about 49.8% over the past year. Additionally, demand for spot XRP ETFs has recently cooled, with fund flows remaining flat on September 4, with a cumulative net inflow still around $1.6 billion.

Gate US adds Florida license, expanding the U.S. compliance map to 47 jurisdictions

Gate US has officially obtained the Money Transmitter License (MTL) in the state of Florida, increasing the number of state-level licenses to 36 and further expanding its compliant operational scope to 47 jurisdictions in the United States. Previously, Gate US's operations had covered multiple jurisdictions, including Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Maine, providing compliant and stable digital asset-related services to local users while adhering to the regulatory requirements of each state.Currently, multiple entities under Gate have completed relevant regulatory registrations, license applications, or obtained authorizations and approvals in jurisdictions such as Malta, the Bahamas, Japan, the United States, Australia, and Dubai. In the future, Gate US will continue to uphold a long-term development strategy focused on safety, transparency, and compliance, further solidifying the platform's capability to conduct compliant business in the U.S. market and providing users with safer, more transparent, and reliable digital asset services.
